What I'm Reading These Days...

Gymboree Toddler Play
by Dr. Wendy S. Masi

I just love this book! It's so simple, yet so handy! The 100 activities listed throughout the book are not anything new or amazing, they're just little things I often forget to do with my toddlers. Things like sing "Wheels on the Bus," look at trees and talk about their textures, creatures and parts, play "animal doctor" with stuffed animals, and color and decorate a big box. Anytime I feel like I'm just "out of ideas," I pull out this book and it reminds me of the great things we've done before, and then we do them again. This book is for ages 12 months to 2+ years.

What I'm Reading to the Kids These Days...

Snuggle Puppy
by Sandra Boynton

I love most of Boynton's books, but Snuggle Puppy is by far the best. This simple little book that is made up mostly of a simple little song is one of our favorites.
It gives the perfect excuse to sneak in kisses, and reinforces the fact that parents love their snuggle puppies no matter what!
